Ayers' vibraphone work threads through arrangements driven by Bernard Purdie's precision drumming, with strings adding a stealthier warmth about the edges. The set moves from the slick, percussive strut of the title track to the supple swing of 'Sensitize', a cover of Stevie Wonder's 'Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing', and the cinematic 'Mash Theme'. His version of 'Feel Like Makin' Love' hums with soft electric glow, while 'The Boogie Back' rides a breakbeat that's fed countless hip-hop samples.
